How to Fix Verification Code Not Received in GB WhatsApp

Network looks fine but nothing changes

A restart refreshes the radio connection and clears stuck SMS delivery on some devices.

Power off completely, wait 30 seconds, power on
Open GB WhatsApp and request a new code once
Try call verification again if SMS still fails

Double-check country code and digits

You are not sure the number is correct

A wrong country code is one of the most common silent failures — the code goes to a different line.

Match the country flag with your SIM’s country
Remove leading zeros from the local number if the UI adds country code separately
